A transport airbag, also called a dunnage bag, is an inflatable bag placed between cargo to fill gaps and prevent movement during transit. Available in woven polypropylene and kraft paper, they inflate in seconds with a pneumatic gun.
02 What is the difference between woven and paper airbags?
Woven airbags are made of woven polypropylene — lighter and reusable across several cycles. Kraft paper airbags (K2 or K4) offer higher pressure resistance, are better suited to heavy or delicate loads, and are biodegradable. The right choice depends on the cargo type and transport mode.
03 Do airbags need special machinery to inflate?
No. They inflate with pneumatic guns connected to a standard air compressor. We have specific guns for woven and paper airbags, compatible with the integrated valves on all our models.
